Handsome Sensei Pin
2" Tall
Black Nickel Metal
Pearl Swirl Background
Mixed Grades (A/B)
When I first designed this pin, I had been in the community for only a couple of months (this includes collecting). My first several designs I charged as P4Ps, (including that very first Shinso) because I wanted to test the waters and see if I could even sell any designs.
Now because I wasn't making anything off of these (including this sensei pin, LE was low), and I was new to anything pin related and how everything works, I wasn't sure if I were to label this pin or not as anything. The face (excluding the scar and scruff) was P4P with very minor changes, the hair was all a redraw, and then the suit, hand, and scarf was all my original art.
Now as I am nearing my 1 year mark and have learned a lot, looking back at this pin, I'm going to restock it with keeping that P4P price because it isn't all my own art. Even though MOST of it is in the design, I'm very adamant about P4P stuff staying P4P.
The only thing I am unsure about is what to label it as, since it is mixed and most of it was my own thing. But either way, I wanted to make this clear because I feel it is very important to be an honest, and transparent creator.
So although at the time I wasn't sure how to label it one year ago, having been super new to everything, I still did NOT make anything off of them. That is why my first several pins were all low price (my first shinso design is still that P4P price even though it is all my art).
So with the restock, that P4P price will remain the same. I'm doing the same number I had ordered from my manu as the first time, so it isn't changed.
As I continue on, and ever since this design, I've been keeping P4Ps and my original art separated. This is the only complicated design where it's all mixed together.
